I am running IE 7 and Windows XP Professional patch 2.
Occasionally I get this error message: "Internet Explorer Internet Explorer
has encountered a problem with an add-on and needs to close. The following
add-on was running when this problem occurred:
Add-on Name: Flash9f.ocx
Company Name: Adobe System Incorporated
Description: Adobe Flash Player

continue"

Any ideas? Thanks very much.

Chris.

I am running 2.20 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core I am still
getting this error message at least once every maybe 3-5 hours of operation.
FYI. I have removed IE 7 and MicroTrend antivirus and antispyware.
MicroTrend declared the HP IE 7 fix for HP Director was a Trojan. I had to
exit MicroTrend then the HP fix slammed in and worked. I am back to running
AVG 8, SpyBot SD and Ad-Aware. I am still getting this error situation.
Thanks for your time and help.
I wonder why Adobe hasn't got into this problem? They owe those of us
who use there expensive software and everyone else.

Your welcome Chris, sorry I'm not able to offer anything else with regard to
your issues with the Flash Player.

You might try posting your problem on the Adobe Flash Player forum,
detailing your Machine specs and details of your issues with the Flash
Player.

Try this, it usually works.

First run the Flash uninstaller, then install the msi.

Adobe Flash uninstaller. ~200 KB

Adobe Flash Player installer, full version. 5 MB
