Hi, is there something I can do about this? Open a web-page I know is slow to
download. Open another IE session and another web-page that is quicker. Once
the "slower page" finishes loading it forces itself open over the "quicker
page" that I am reading. It's really annoying - how can I set it so that the
page *I* am viewing is always prominent and everything else stays in the
background until *I* select it? Thanks

Hi,
Minimizing (to a button on the Taskbar) the window you don't want to see
will *usually* prevent it from stealing focus.

The only other solution I know of is one of the free programs with a
keep-this-window-on-top feature. This will involve an extra click or two.
Check for OS compatibility before downloading.

Assuming WinXP:

1. Prevent Programs from Stealing Focus (Line 66 Right)

2. See http://pcsupport.about.com/od/windowsxp/ht/stealingfocus01.htm
