Hi,
Minimizing (to a button on the Taskbar) the window you don't want to see
will *usually* prevent it from stealing focus.
The only other solution I know of is one of the free programs with a
keep-this-window-on-top feature. This will involve an extra click or two.
Check for OS compatibility before downloading.
