Press F11 to exit Full Screen view. You can also return to Full Screen
view by pressing F11.

Earl, did F11 do the trick for you?

Nope. I'm familiar with hiding the headers with F11, but that's not the
case here.
They act just like the Task Bar when set to Auto Hide. That is they
disappear but
will reappear when the mouse pointer is moved to the top of the screen.

Yes, IE7. This is a friend's computer that I looked at yesterday and don't
have current access to it. I believe it is a Dell, I'll have to re-check.
Wonder
if the IE could be a bastardized version from the manufacturer??

Hi,
Try this...
Go to Full Screen mode. Right-click the tiny space between the Refresh and
Stop icons. Uncheck Auto-Hide.

Hope this helps,

I don't get that option on my IE7. Could this be something unique to Dell?

Hi,
Does this occur when running IE7 without add-ons?
Start IE without add-ons from:
Right-click the IE icon on the desktop. Choose Start without add-ons.
or
Programs> Accessories> System tools> Internet Explorer (no add-ons)

You were in Full Screen Mode when looking for the Auto Hide option, right?

I don't get an option to "Start without add-ons".
By Full Screen, that means using the F11, right?
That "tiny" space between Refresh and Stop is almost non-existent.
I finally was able to stop the mouse pointer there and right clicking did
show that option to "auto hide".

Is there no other place this can be configured?

Earl
