IE6/7 | Tools | Internet Options | Advanced | ...possibly you've altered
scripting settings in one or more Security Zones - setting Internet Zone to
Medium, (Medium reccommended by MS - I wouldn't reccommend it myself), would
correct it. you might want to peek in the Advanced options and disable
script debugging whilst you're ferreting around in there !

regards, Richard

Ooops, I didn't read your OP very carefully did I ?!
...specifically the "Scripts are Safe" ? ...I don't like the sound of that
!
"Scripts" can also be VERY unsafe !
...cast your eye through some of the excellent posts in here on procedures
for ridding your machine of malware.

regards, Richard

Are you sure about the Message you have quoted?

If the Alert box you are getting is actually saying "Scripts are usually
safe. Do you want to allow scripts to run?", then you must have Active
Scripting set to "Prompt" in the Internet Zone.

Click on Tools||Internet Options||Security||Internet(Zone)||Custom Level...
and scroll down to "Scripting". Make sure "Prompt" is not ticked under
"Active Scripting". Either enable it or disable it to get rid of the the
Alert box.

Good luck,

Donald Anadell
