hello,
I have IE7 on an xps420 that is about 3 months old.
The problem I have is that on some websites the images overlap, or words
will overlap each other etc.

I updated my video card drivers just in case, but no dice!

I am running vista home premium.

At first I thought it was a problem with vista, but I used another pc with
vista about a month ago, and didn't have the same issue!

any suggestions!

is there a name for this? I was trying to find some info, bc I'm sure I'm
not the only one this has happened to, but didn't know the best keywords to
search with!

Thank you,
Luis

PS
I don't know which this would fall under, but when I open a pdf acrobat
reader document through IE I cannot print, save or change pages throught the
toolbar.

any ideas on this one!

Hi Luis
I have an I-mack that has a huge screen and my browser is "Safari" and the
same happens, pictures and writing overlap but only when I am at certain
sites so not always, but on my laptop everything displays perfect where ever
I browse. So it can't be IE as my browser is Safari. I think only certain
sites that have the fault on their page like a bug.

A setting other than 100% can cause what I think you described. The only
thing other than that I can think of is the DPI not being set to 96.

You're right, the DPI is not at 96, I put it higher bc if I not, with the
screen at hight resolution the print becomes extremely small!

If that's the only other option, then I'll deal, the extra small text is
way too small!

thanks,
L
