I frequently have issues with IE 7 freezing. The only way to get out of it is
to kill the session either thru taskmanager or by clicking the X and closing
it after the prompt.
I have gone through the whole process of starting IE without any addons and
resetting all the IE settings. Neither of which "corrected" the problem.
I have observed that the problem always seems to happen when I have multiple
tabs open and one of the background tab's web page throughs a jscript error.
Add in the fact that the error has to be in a background tab and it seems to
have to sit for a minute or two. If this sequence of events occurs the lockup
is 99.9% guaranteed. My installation is on a Web Dev machine so I do have
script debugging enabled.
Any suggestions or ideas?
