I have Windows XP Home Edition and Internet Explorer 7 installed.
Downloading mp3 music files has always been fine, until recently.

Usually when I download mp3 files, I right-click the link and click Save
Target As... and easily save the mp3 file to my documents.

However now when I go through the same process and click Save Target As,
instead of allowing me to save the mp3 file to my computer simply as it is,
it tells me, Save as type: Movie file (mpeg).

How do I fix this and save the file to my computer as an mp3 file, and not a
movie one?

Hi C,

Check your security settings - Tools>Internet Options - Security tab,
(probably Internet Zone) - "Open files based on content, not file extension"

Regards.
