Can't delete unwanted mail messages on Yahoo mail

I recently upgraded to IE 7. Ove the past 10 days I have not been able to
delete old mail messages from my Yahoo inbox. I am using the old version of
Yahoo. Aslo, the spam feature is no longer working. I ahve sent up a file
for the old messages since I can't delete them. I have also tried to delete
this folder without success. I get an error message (Error code 2) from the
Yahoo mail team but they have been of no help. Any suggestions?

Hi,
I'm not sure that IE7 is causing this problem or that the problem is on your
end. I've experienced extreme slowness a few times with Yahoo mail for a
week or two. I don't have a lot of spam slipping past the filters, but
there's more now that a few weeks ago.

Probably won't help, but can't hurt...
Clear your Temporary Internet Files from Internet Options> General> Browsing
History> Delete> (next screen)> Delete files.

You might see if the problems still occur with Firefox
