The browsing History does not record any websites. When I click the star
icon, there are two items in the list: Computer and my homepage.
Clicking the homepage icon does not expand into the sites visited.

I have turned to this group for help in the past. Grateful then and now.

Patrick Henry,

Open IE7, choose Internet Options on the Tools drop down list. Click on the
General tab. In the Browsing History section, click on Settings. Review the
settings...

Always post your OS when you need help.
(I don't feel inclined to search for whatever previous help you received
to try and determine that fact due to your negligence now.)
FYI some Vista users have had problems with corrupted History
due to various problems, including incorrect registry settings and
invalid or missing Desktop.ini file. Etc.

Robert --

Thanks! I'm still new to discussion groups. Yes, my OS is Vista and I will
list that in the future. Is there any solution to the problems you described
in the registry or missing Desktop ini file? Again, I am grateful.
