ActiveX and Script Error

I keep getting ~~~Click to run ACTIVEX control for this webpage.

This will happen when I open many different webpages. Some are fine. Most
give me this. And it doesn't happen just once. I get the same popup like 4
times for each time I open the page.

Then........after I open the page and start to scroll or even click on a
link or even refresh a page, i get this error

I don't understand or get why this does this. I depend on speedy internet
browsing because I am a work at home mommy. I need this to run smooth and
speedy in order to get the numerous tasks done on a daily basis. It is
causing me so much disgust that I opt to most of the time just shut my damn
computer off and walk away. I have even gotten a migrane trying to research
and solve this problem.

PLEASE HELP!!!

This only started to happen after I downloaded the new IE7. Then I reverted
back to 6..........and it still was causing me problems. So now I am back
with 7.....and honestly..........I would almost rather have old dial up and
popups than deal with this headache.

"Click to run ACTIVEX control" was implemented as part of the settlement
of a patent infringement suit. It is now a normal part of web browsing
with Internet Explorer.

Unless the machine was not fully-patched at Windows Update, IE7 did /not/
introduce this behavior, FM.
