Do not upgrade SP3 exe at once, will cause problems. Windows update and
select custom. Part of SP3 is already installed on computer.

Hi there plz help! ive lost internet explorer,ive downloaded microsoft
updates and with it came sp3 your saying not to as it causes problems, even
before this was downloaded i still cudnt get IE were has it gone? when i try
to download IE it says page cannot be displayed, plz help thank you.

Through Microsoft Updates you can download Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3)
all at once; however, this may cause your computer to crash. Choose custom
and only download the updates required.
