Logon scripts are not applicable to computers - but users instead (computers
can be configured with startup scripts). Whichever target you choose (user
or computer) needs to reside in the OU to which the GPO is linked. Have you
verified that the GPO settings have taken effect (using GPRESULT or
RSOP.MSC)?

What is it actually? Logon scripts apply to users objects and are
configured under "User Configuration" whereas startup scripts apply to
computer objects and are configured under "Computer Configuration".

Depending on what you choose, you need to have the corresponding objects
in your OU. For logon scripts, you need to have the user accounts in the
OU, for startup scripts, the machines need to be there.
