this morning when i was in my company , I opened the active directory users
and computers,and the server 2000
gave a info "naming information cannot be located because the logon attempt
failed" .
I restat the server 2000. And everything goes well. But for about 4 or 6
hours, the server gave the same info when I open ad users&computers.
I have noted that in the system daily record there were some errors and
warning (netlogon 5781 & w32time 54 62 64).
I used dcdiag to test the server,it gave the info below:

Did you execute ADUC on a client machine or on the Windows 2000 server?
This looks to me like a DNS issue. Could you perform a netdiag scan as well?
