I have 2 servers. NYServer and a MDServer. NYServer can replicate to MDServer
but MDServer can not
replicate to NYServer. When I run the following command on the NYServer I get

C:>dcdiag /test:replications

[Replications Check,LRCSRVNY001] A recent replication attempt failed:
From LRCSRVMD001 to LRCSRVNY001
Naming Context: DC=lifestar,DC=com
The replication generated an error (1722):
The RPC server is unavailable.
The failure occurred at 2008-04-27 18:54.50.
The last success occurred at 2005-03-02 09:54.32.
221179 failures have occurred since the last success.
The source remains down. Please check the machine.

The RPC service is running on both Servers.

When I run on the NYServer

C:>dcdiag/s:lrcsrvny001 /test:knowsofroleholders

Results
DC Diagnosis

Performing initial setup:
Done gathering initial info.

Doing initial non skippeable tests

......................... LRCSRVNY001 passed test Connectivity

My guess is that these are improperly removed domain controllers. If so, how
do I remove them from AD?
