I have a five year old server that is my PDC now and it also acts as my
Exchange server. I want to Upgrade the Domain Controller to another box but
leave the Exchange alone and make the old server just a Backup Domain
Controller.
I have done this probably 50 times with another network operating system
(Novell, Sorry) but this will be my first Microsoft. I have looked at the
Active Directory Migration Tool and wonder is there an easier way. So I
thought i'd sent this post to all the experts and ask is there an easier way?

You might want to look at the responses to same question you posted at 2:50
yesterday.
