However, if you double-click to open the contact, there is no information showing in the Address text field on the form, whether you choose Home, Business, or Other. If you click the "Business..." button by the Address text box, the business address DOES show up in the Check Address dialog box. If you click the All Fields tab, and choose Address Fields, you can see the Business Address, etc. in that list.     - Changing Destination of "backup.pst" Changes File Size ! I have XP Pro SP2 installed on my laptop with MS Outlook2003. I only use Outlook as a Contacts list and , until today , this data was saved as the file "backup.pst" in the path ;- C:\D&S\User Name\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft \Outlook and was 3241KB in size. As I now wish to keep all data out of the C;\ drive I have now saved this file to the E;\ drive and the file now has the path :- E:\Outlook\backup.pst.     - Outlook link between contacts and mail A couple of weeks ago my computer failed - possibly due to virus or other error. Through use of a boot disk, I was able to save my .pst files to another drive. I have formated a new drive, reinstalled Windows, Office, etc. I copied my .pst file to the new drive. Outlook now shows two Personal Folders files, with two Contacts files, as well as a Business Contacts file which I filled by importing from my Contacts folder. My contacts files are all complete and contain all of the previous contact information from the drive that failed, but I cannot access any of them from the Mail function. If I select New from the mail window and then attempt to fill an address by selecting To: or cc: I get a blank dialog box and cannot type anything into it. I can, however, start from the Contacts window and initiate an email but if I want to use multiple recipients or CC, etc. I have to then copy and paste all of the addresses into the email form.     - While using Vista, why did my address book disapear in Outlook 200 I have been using Outlook 2000 since 2000. Call me a hardnose but it's a great program, I love it, I have been keeping my data base files stored just fine with 2000. I got a laptop about 10 months ago, Vista of course came with it. Outlook 2000 loaded fine and worked fine for about 6 months. Then at the snap of a finger all my contacts remained but the address book itself disappeared.     - Contact issue I have a rather complicated upgrade history. I went from using Outlook express to outlook2003 to outlook2007 within the last 2 months.     - How do i index my contacts in Outlook? I have imported a new group of contacts into Outlook. After importing them into Outlook, i tried using the search key to locate individuals, however a message appears saying that items are still indexing. After following the Outlook directions to reset the indexes, through the control panel, I still am having the index message pop-up. Can anyone tell me how to oslve this please?? I have outlook 2007 on both my home and work computer. Neither computer is
networked with another computer. Is there a way to synchronize my contact
list between the two computers?
