I have a contact set up with an e-mail address in it. I can e-mail to that
address but I can't receive e-mails from that same address - even when they
hit reply to the e-mail I sent.

Then I suspect they have the problem, not you. Do they receive any

Thanks for taking the time to respond. However, the other person doesn't get
any notices that the mail was undeliverable. Since that doesn't happen, I'm
not certain which of us has the problem. Thanks again.

Are you both using Outlook? If so, does the reply message they send appear
in their Sent Items folder?

Thanks for making this suggestion. I'll check with her and get back to you.
