    - New Journal Entry for Contact I've recently upgraded from Office XP (2002) to Office 2007. When I'm working with a Contact page, I no longer see the command "New Journal Entry for Contact". This is really used by me a lot to record everything about that interaction. I've looked everywhere I can think of, and haven't found it; I did find the Journal button, but that only produces a generic journal form. The old way actually filled in a lot of the blanks for me. Also, I'd like to turn on Journaling for all my Contacts, but they're in subfolders, so apparently the software still doesn't allow me to do that, same as in Office 2002.     - While using Vista, why did my address book disapear in Outlook 200 I have been using Outlook 2000 since 2000. Call me a hardnose but it's a great program, I love it, I have been keeping my data base files stored just fine with 2000. I got a laptop about 10 months ago, Vista of course came with it. Outlook 2000 loaded fine and worked fine for about 6 months. Then at the snap of a finger all my contacts remained but the address book itself disappeared.     - Contact issue I have a rather complicated upgrade history. I went from using Outlook express to outlook2003 to outlook2007 within the last 2 months. All I needed to dod before to get an e-mail address to autopopulate was start entering the name from my contac menu. For some reason some of them are autopropogating as expected and others are not.     - Change modified by name in shared contacts When the user was first created their name was spelled wrong. Then user account was renamed and all of the email addresses and mailbox alias was changed. Now, many years later the user shared their contacts.     - Merging contact lists from two computers I access the same email account from multiple locations, and over time there are slight differences in the contact email lists. I have in the past put the .pst file on a flash drive, transferred it to the new machine, and use the "Open Outlook Data File" function to successfully move Outlook around. If I just want to move the contacts, do I still move the entire .pst file? I would imagine I would open the second file, after making sure it has a different .pst file name and a different "name" for the personal folder. Then open the contacts in the second folder, and do a copy/paste operation to get the contacts I wanted into the "primary" file? Followed by closing the secondary .pst file and ultimately deleting it? My idea is that after one or two tries, I'd have a master contact list which I could then distribute as needed.....     - How do I remove a link to a contact from a journal entry? I have linked a journal entry (meeting) to contact names from the address book in Outlook 2007. I cannot see a way to remove one or more of these links.
