outlook 2007 and farorites

Maybe this is a simular problem.
I hope this is the right group.
I have Outlook 2007. The favorites folder
used to have items like 'unread or maybe
'unread from contacts.'
At any rate the favorite folder now has 2 things.
'Sent Items' and 'Inbox'.
I know I can drag folders to the favorites, but
I can't find either of the folders I mentioned above.
"I want a unread mail, and unread" mail from contact.
Any ideas?
I appreciate any thing you can tell me.

Look in Search Folders in the folder view - you should see one called Unread
Mail - drag that to your Favorites pane. If it's not there, you can create
one.

Them create a new search folder - one of the options you will get is "unread
Mail"...
