I am trying to mail merge. I've selected contacts from business contact
manager, select mail merge, select existing template in word. Then it opens
the word document and my mail merge tool bar has disappeared and the only
option is to begin again in word and re-select the few receipients I had
already selected.

Or, it gives me an error message, "Object has been deleted".

Your mail merge toolbar has "disappeared from" Word? Did you select the
option to view it? If so, I would post more accurate information of your
versions and steps used to create the problem in a Word group.
