In an effort to import "Notes" associated with various contacts into Outlook Journals with date and possibly the person who made the note, I have exported Journals from Outlook 2007 to Excel 2003, in order to see the format that data needs to be in order to import back into Outlook Journals. Exported Journal headers: JournalType Subject StartDate StartTime Categories Companies Duration BillingInformation Mileage Private Body ContactAddressType ContactAddress ContactName Priority Sensitivity Q1: Since all of the Journals are associated with a contact, I would expect the â??ContactNameâ?? to be in all records. Some records do not list the â??ContactNameâ?? and others list different variations of the contact name, why? Q2: I was able to import the journal from excel 2003 after assigning a name range to the data, but it did not associate it with a contact as I had specified in the "ContactName" field.     - Want to make a Distribution List, but no members are listed to sel Recently, my husband and I switched computers. We swapped all files. All of my Outlook contacts are present, my email works, etc. However, I attempted to email out a message to a distribution list and it wouldn't work. It said the contacts wern't available.     - incompatibility between office XP and 2003 Hello, Daily i get 20 to 30 emails, i add them to DL based on different dates and after adding to DL i use to delete the contacts from address book because i only need email ID to send any promotions in future. It was working fine. I was using office XP. A few months ago I created a shared contact folder from a contact name, so additional contacts could be added into this folder; this acts very much like a database in Outlook. When I create a vCard *for signatures* in Outlook 2003, the .vcf file located in the "C:\Documents and Settings\%windows_username%\Application Data\Microsoft\Signatures" folder does not retain the "IM address" or "Display As" field. vCard details are never imported/saved correctly UNLESS I edit the .vcf file with Notepad and code it in manually using keywords. Specifically, I don't know the keywords to add "IM Address" and "Display As" (for email) but I do for others, such as the "Notes" field. Can anyone help with the other two?     - Migrating Outlook 2003 Contacts to New Exchange Mailbox I recently acquired a MS Exchange mailbox from my email hosting company and set up wireless Blackberry synchronization. Everything went smoothly except that my Outlook Contacts are not in my new Outlook profile files. Blackberry tech support made me wipe everything off the Blackberry during the setup process. I have exported the contacts from the old file into a .csv file and imported them into the new profile. I also tried to export to a .pst file. After importing I can see my contacts but when composing a new email I don't see them when I click on the "To" button to call up my address book. I looked in the properties and the box is checked to generate Exchange views. They are also not synchronizing with my Blackberry. I do have a backup for the Blackberry made with the Blackberry desktop manager but I can't access this because the Blackberry is set to sync wirelessly now. I don't know how often the sync occurs so I have waited more then 24 hours to see if the contacts showed up on the Blackberry. What have I done wrong? I've attempted to forward Contacts from my contacts in Outlook ( select
contact, right click, and Forward) to Hotmail and Gmail users and they don't
get them. The Hotmail users get a message with an attachment, but there is

Outlook 2003 does not appear to give you a chance to specify a format when
you simply right click on the Contact, then select forward from the pop-up
menu. Is there someplace I should look to see the 'format'?
