I have a user who wants to divide up a distribution list into three lists. Is
there a way to copy and past certain contacts to the other distribution lists?

Not recommended. Better to create a copy of the DL, then remove the members
no longer needed in the copy.

Easiest way is to R click and drag the DL a short way within the folder, the
select "Copy" from the Context menu.
