Is it possible to share contacts between Windows Live and Outlook?

I do not want to integrate my Hotmail account within Outlook using the
Office Connector, as suggested by Microsoft. All I want is to run Windows
Live for my Hotmail personal email account only and Outlook for my business
email account only, using just one Address Book. If I update an address in
Outlook, I would like Windows Live to be able to immediately use that
address, and vice versa.

I currently use Outlook Express for my current Hotmail account. Up to now,
I have been able to use the same address book using the registry fix where
Outlook Express uses the Outlook Address Book. How can I continue that
functionality after I am forced to switch from Outlook Express to Windows
Live?

Thanks

That registry hack no longer works with current Outlook versions or with
Windows Mail. I've seen nothing that can do what you want to date.

AFAIK, the reg hack does not work for newer versions of outlook and mail.
the only way to share contacts would be with the connector.

FWIW, the accounts would be separate if you used the connector for hotmail
and POP3 account for business since the connector creates a new message
store. They'd just share the same instance of Outlook.

Thank you for your response. Even though it was the answer I expected, it
was not the answer I was hoping for. I had to dig to find the registry hack
for Outlook Express (NOT on the Microsoft Support site, which was silent on
the fix) so hopefully someone will post something with a fix. Thanks
