Whenever I try to export outlook contacts to another file for export, the
file always ends up with double the contacts when a fax number is entered for
the respective contact - one name with proper info, as well as the same name
with Business Fax as part of the display name with country code. If I open
the address book, whenever a contact has a fax number entered, it shows in
address book as 2 listings. Is there something I'm missing here? If I delete
out fax number from the contact form it only returns one listing, but I need
fax info for the export. Further to this I need to edit country code
settings, the duplicate address book listings of each contact always show
with a Cameroon exchange, even if I just enter area code and number with no
detailed fax number info. I am wondering if I have some sort of Fax profile
set up which I'm unaware of, which is returning all my 'fax entered contact
forms' names as duplicate address book entries with a second display name.
Confused.

Why do you need to export contacts? Your answer may suggest another
method....

I am trying to use my outlook contacts to set up an access database contacts
table in an existing access database. I also have had the need to export
contacts to another user.

Well for the second function you shouldn't use the export function anyway.
Just create a new pst file, copy the contacts into it, close Outlook, send
the file to the other user and reverse the process.
