I've set up contacts to include Title. When I insert an address in Word
(into a letter, for instance), the title runs into the first name: Ms.Anna
When I look at it in Contacts, Full Name Display, it appears correctly: Ms.
Anna.

I tried going into the Title entry and adding a space after the period, but
it makes no difference. Thoughts?

Answer not possible because you failed to provide your version. You get to
read the whole lot of potential answers and pick one:
To learn about ways to control how an Address is inserted into Word from
Outlook, take a look here:
Word 2000/2002:
http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/insword.htm
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;en-us;q134901

Word 2003/2007:
http://www.gmayor.com/Macrobutton.htm

More recent versions of Office (XP and 2003) are more dysfunctional when it
comes to inserting addresses. Modifying AddressLayout in Word 2002 will
apply only to addresses inserted into a document, but not to Envelopes or
Labels. The KB offers the following kludgy workaround:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;292127
