Someone would like me to restore the list off their old computer to a new one
of all the contacts that were in that list. This is the list the appears in
the To: box when you start typing that will show names that fit what you have
started typing. A lot of these names are not contacts and just put their
automatically. Is there away to restore this?

Copy the file %AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook\mailprofile.NK2 from the old PC to
the same location on the new PC and rename that file so that its name
matches the current mail profile name.

I have a similar problem in that I have obsolete addresses that appear in the
To: Box when I start typing an address. This has been corrected in my
contact file but the old addresses are still memorized. Is there a way I can
delete these old addresses and have the new one pop up instead.

Answered here nearly every day. When the list appears, use the arrow keys
to select the address you don't want, then press Delete.
