I have to schedule events that will appear on several calendars at once, but
not all of the calendar users can see all the calendars that the appointment
is appearing on. Is there a way to create or copy appointments created from
one calendar to other calendars?

you can do it manually. Edit select it and use copy to folder (edit menu or
on right click) or use table views and copy, then paste.
