    - Calendar printing bug crashes Outlook 2007 I am reposting with new information and do hope I have not broken any rules. This annoying bug re-appears despite deleting this file. It seems to relate to unchecking the box 'print exactly one month to a page' in the 'page set up' dialogue. I am trying to print five weeks to a page (ie beginning of one month and all appointments in the first week of the next month) It also occurs if I print more than one month. Is there any other solution to this please? BTWThe calendar Printing Assistant does not give such clearly legible days' entries as Outlook.     - Conference rooms don't show up in "suggested times" In Outlook 2007, we've discovered that when scheduling a meeting using the Scheduling Assistant, if you add a conference room as a resource (or through "Add Rooms..."), the Suggested Times column does not include the room. In other words, i create a meeting request from my own calendar in Outlook. If i click on the Scheduling Assistant and look at the Suggested Times column, it says "1 of 1 free". That 1 would be me. If i add a room, it still says "1 of 1 free". If i add people to the meeting request, they DO show up in the Suggested Times column. This only happens when i add the room as a room/resource. If i select the room and add it as Required, it is included in the Suggested Times. Is that normal Outlook behavior? It seems like you'd want to be able to add a room AS a room/resource, and not a human attendee and still have it included in the Suggested Times.     - Meeting Organizer Defaults to wrong person We have a public folder for our conference room calendar to schedule meetings in. Everyone has access to this calendar and can schedule meetings. They are to be the organizer and invite themselves so it shows up on their personal calendar. Yet some meetings have been schedule and the person doing it, is not listed as the meeting organizer in the Scheduling tab list of attendees, but someone else, someone who isn't even involved. How is this happening? Also, with some other meetings, when the Scheduling tab is viewed, the meeting organizer switched to the person viewing it at that time. What is happening here?     - 2007 Calendar unable to use custom form created in a previous vers We have a shared calendar with a custom appt form created 3 yrs ago in a previous Outlook version. After installing Outlook 2007, receive msg that the 'object cannot be found' when trying to create a new appt. The form can be fully used in previous Outlook versions. Previous appts can be viewed/edited in Outlook 2007 but not created. I've cleared the cache and deleted the forms from my local pc.     - Internet Calendar Subscription Please help. My boss shares his calendar with me and in the past we had no problem with this, and I was able to add meetings to his calendar. But then he bought a new computer and when he tried to share the calendar with me, the link I would get via email would not work. When i try to click on it, I get the following error message: "Cannot verify or add the calendar to Outlook. Make sure the following link is a valid calendar link." I can see his calendar online, but I cannot make any changes to it. Clicking the "Subscribe to Internent Calendar" link on the Published Internet Calendars website gives me the same error message.     - Display Calendar Grid My calendar display in Outlook 2003 got screwed up yesterday. When I click "Calendar" tab on the Left, I can only see a list of calendar items, grouped by frequency of recurrence. In order to see my calendar as a grid, I have to click "wife's calendar" button near the upper left side of the screen (under "My Calendars" - the button "Calendar" doesn't work); then her calendar grid displays, and I can see a "Calendar" button under "My Calendars"; at that point I can click it and see my own calendar grid, at which point I can close "wife's calendar" to see my calendar grid alone on the right side. If I go to read "Mail", I will have to repeat the whole process to see the calendar grid again. What can I do to get the proper display function back? Tag: Snooze Reminder Tag: 98683

    - updating internet calendar OL 2007 I posted this question in the General Outlook thread (and of course received no reply) about a week ago; I hope it's not completely inappropriate to repost it now that I found the right thread. :) I have a few questions about calendars and using Publish to Internet in Outlook 2007. I have one calendar that is private and is shared by me and two other coworkers. If I make changes to the calendar, do I have to re-publish it or does it somehow magically update itself? I set my coworkers up with Live passwords, sent them invitations to my calendar and downloaded the calendar to both of their comptuers. Then I made a change the other day and when it didn't appear on my coworkers' computers, I published it again and then waited a day to see if it appeared, which it didn't. Is there something they're supposed to do to "download" my calendar? I thought it was supposed to happen automatically on their end. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!     - How do I know WHO scheduled an appointment? We are running Exchange Server 2003 with clients running Outlook 2003. We share our personal calendars with everyone in the office. Sometimes an appointment will pop up on someone's calendar and they don't know who put it there. Is there a way to find out? I have already tried opening the appointment and clicking properties.     - Reoccuring mismatch in free/bury information, cause? I am trying to find the cause that makes this situation happen. We know how to fix the problem( /cleanfreebusy ), but the problem keeps occuring and its starting to make some people angry. We have a situation where Outlook Calendar data between 2 or 3 people will not match. For example user A will have a meeting in his calendar for 11am in the boardroom. User B will want to schedule a meeting for a training room and invite User A. User B looking at User A's calendar inside of a meeting request sees that User A is free at 11 even though at User A's desk his Outlook shows he has a meeting at 11. User B not knowing that User A is busy at 11 invites him to attend a meeting and thus creates a scheduling conflict. We have been correcting this problem by checking that the users are running the same version of Outlook and/or servicepack (usually they are), but the fix is usually to run Outlook.exe /cleanfreebusy So.... we can fix the problem. BUT we would really like to know why this problem keeps happening. What is the cause of this issue? What triggers this to happen? We have seen this happen to people that we have previously fixed. It keeps coming back. Our Enviroment.     - Outlook 2003 public calendar problem We have Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2003. Two of my users have full owner rights to add/edit/delete entries in a public calendar to record employee flex days schedules. Currently neither of the two employees with full owner rights can add or edit or delete entries in the public calendar. Any ideas of tools or solutions to try to fix this? They get a message saying "Your changes could not be saved because you don't have permission to modify some or all of the items in this folder.     - Outlook Calendar missing months, how to merge w/other archive cale Outlook 2007 (been using since around 3/07), previously, had the previous version for several years. My Outlook's calendar is missing chunks of dates (many months). I understand that Outlook has a "current" type of working file that it uses, and an "archive" file that it uses. between those two, you're supposed to have everything, ALL your history. for some reason, my "calendar archive" is missing substantial chunks of historical information - like years and months. i use the Outlook Calendar almost like a diary. It is very helpful for me to recall events merely by going back on my Outlook Calendar. i have numerous ".pst" files that i, as a non-computer specialist, in a probably poor fashion, tried to perform what i believed to be "back ups". it was my little effort to be "safe". apparently, it has now resulted in confusion. on the other hand, should some of those numerous so called "back up .pst files" that i did perform from time to time result in me finding my missing years or months of calendar information, maybe it was a good thing that i've done after all. i do not know how to properly pull out the calendar info from those files, properly and intelligently consolidate it all into ONE master "archive calendar", and how to integrate it back into my current Outlook that I use. of course, it won't integrate back into my CURRENT outlook folder, it will integrate back into the "archive" folder that my current Outlook uses (as mentioned above, anyone's current Outlook uses only TWO files: one for current stuff, and one for anything that is deemed by the user as archive stuff). as you ladies and gentlemen can tell, I am trying but I'm not an IT expert. So, I've devised what I belive to be one solution sort of "step by step", but I hesitate to proceed before asking the gurus here to see if my "plan" is sound. Please kindly see my "plan" below and inform me of what needs to change, or, alternatively, please tell me what other plan i should do in order to resolve my big Calendar issue. Thank you so much in advance! My "Plan" to find missing months/years of Outlook Calendar historical information: Outlook Calendar Resolution Steps My Outlook Calendar does NOT have a complete, uninterrupted archive history. Periods (months and years may be missing). There are numerous ".pst" backup files that I've made using the Export function over the past years - they were my "non sophisticated" way of trying to be safe and do back ups of my very valuable Outlook Calendar information. Goal: Find and Clean up and merge the various Calendar files into ONE CALENDAR file. "Put" new Single Calendar file with ALL historical Calendar items into current Outlook and archive PROPERLY. STEPS: 1. Identify ALL ".pst" files in the 2 drives where they are: Drives F and H (F = Documents Drive; H = Documents Backup Drive) 2. EXPORT each of these ".pst" files' CALENDAR portion ONLY to a Desktop Folder named "Calendars Outlook" 3. Establish a 2nd User with Administrative Rights on Vista. Open Outlook as 2nd User. Use Outlook in a LIMITED fashion toâ?¦ (next step) 4. PROPERLY merge all these calendars into ONE single calendar WITHOUT duplication USING 2nd User identity under Vista (I do not currently know how to establish a 2nd user in Vista w/administrative rights yet; nor do i currently know how to open up Outlook and use it in a Limited fashion (under the 2nd user name) to perform this merging of Calendar fashion) 5. Put this new CONSOLIDATED calendar back into my current Outlook (in the archive file, not in the current file) 6.     - Random blank appointments in Outlook 2007 Hi, I keep getting random blank appointments appearing in Outlook 2007 SP1. They pop up at a rate of a few (5-15) a day, except on one occasion a few days back when about 2,600 appeared scheduled between 23h30 one day an 04h00 the next. Meeting reminders for the bogus appointments also appear - but not one-to-one. Sometimes I get reminders and when I look, there's nothing there; other times appointments appear without reminders. I have only been able to sort by Start Date, sort by Due Date, and to select/deselect Showing Completed Tasks.     - Major problems with Outlook Calendar crashing/no alarms Set-up: Outlook 2007 with BCM integrated with Accounting Professional 2008 SP1, running on Vista Home Premium. (Office SPS intalled upto 3.) For about a month now I've had problems with Outlook crashing when I click on it to create a new appointment or open an existing one. It doesn't crash every single time but more often than not - and it's getting much worse. This evening I've had to restart Outlook 7 times just to get to open an existing appointment. For the past fortnight I've had no alarms. The reminders window shows as empty and says there are no reminders. (All my appointments and many of my Tasks have reminders!) The To-Do Bar doesn't show Tasks - though that option is selected - althought it shows the monthly calendar and the next 2 appointments. On Office Today everything shows OK, including the Tasks, but the reminders still don't work. A UK-based Microsoft techie got me to run the cleanreminders - no effect. We tried creating a new .pst file. Calendar still crashed...and the techie seems to have given up. Anybody got any ideas...PLEASE!!! I love Outlook for all the integration but I am beginning to wish I'd stuck with ACT! My old version of Outlook let me snooze overdue items for up to 2 weeks. I
upgraded to 2000 and now I can only snooze for 1 week. How can I change that?

Also, my overdue items appeared on one panel in a list, now they appear on
separate panels. How do I change it to appear on 1 panel?

Did you really upgrade to Outlook 2000?

On the snooze issue - type 2 weeks in the field. Type 2 months if you want.
