Trying to get my outlook calendar into a powerpoint presentation. I have
seen two questions answered on this telling the questioners to use a template
at http://www.slipstick.com/addins/calendar_print.asp. I need more help than
this. What does use a template mean? Where are the templates on this link as
I cannot find them. Help, sinking fast and boss really wants that calendar
of his in a ppt file SOON. Robin

Are you familiar with Word templates? There are instructions with the
templates.

I'm afraid to ask why he wants the calendar in powerpoint. Is he giving a
presentation to his boss and needs to show how busy he is? <g>

Actually it is his group calendar and he wants to use it for the all hands
meeting to show what he has tracked for the group. I am still unsure what to
do with a template. When I go to the site you recommend there is a very long
list of THINGS. None of them directly say "use this to convert Outlook
calendars to Powerpoint slides". Can you give me the specific link on the
site you recommended which will get me what I need? And I am also unsure as
to how a template is going to convert my outlook calender to a powerpoint
slide. I don't even know how to get the calendar out of Outlook let alone
apply the template in powerpoint. Thanks so much for all the help; I feel
like an idiot for not being able to get this on my own but I swear, NOTHING I
have done has worked. *sigh*

none of those apps will say "use this to convert to a powerpoint slide"
because AFAIK, there are no apps specifically for that purpose, possibly
because not many people have the need. You need to use a word template
(there are two in that list) to create a calendar in word (it pulls data
from the calendar) then import the word doc you created into powerpoint. Or
you could use screen print and paste the image into ppt - that would be the
fastest and easiest.
