    - published calendar lost? one of my users has had her published calendar "disapear" from outlook. i checked folder views (it wasn't hiding), and also Tools> Account Settings > Internet Calendars. it simply isn't there (i also checked deleted items!). her last Outlook backup does not show it (i tried to re-import it). how do i have her "republish"? it's still on the Microsoft server, as i can see it. if i simply have her subscribe it is not writeable for her...she needs to be able to add appts...     - Can Outlook calculate current age from a particular year? In Active Desktop Calendar, I could set up a birthday year in such a way as to have the program calculate current age. So, for example, I could have an entry of "Mom 1930 %y1930%" and on my calendar it would say Mom 1930 78 years.     - messaging interface has returned an unknown error I am on Vista Business OS and was running a trial version of Office 2007. The trial ended and I now want to run Office 2003 (never previously installed). I installed Office 2003 and now when I want to add a new calendar item or contact, I get a Microsoft Office Outlook error of "the messaging interface has returned an unknown error. Other, very similar events, did show. The difference is that events with an older start date did not show.     - Need Custom Outlook / Exchange form built Our web folks are asking us to have a form built for our publicly shared calendar. Is this easily achieved? Can anyone point me in a direction where I can get more information. Their specifications are below. Outlook has built in calendar and export sharing capabilities. We need someone to write/setup the needed Outlook forms, etc to get our shared public calendar events exported into an exchangeable file format such as XML or iCalendar (preferred). The main form that needs to be built is basically a customized Appointment form that adds additional fields to the record related to our business. These fields include bio information, client names and links, reference number, etc. Technical hurdles: - The scheduling setup uses multi-character codes to denote event status and location. These need to be parsed into additional data fields. It may be possible to replace these codes with menus on the custom form. - The schedule can have multiple event on a single day, or potentially overlapping evemts at different locations. There needs to be a way for users to indicate which group of appointments constitute a event. - The data needs to exported in one of two ways: 1. New versions of Outlook also provide the ability to publish calendars to a WebDAV server. One option for this project is to setup Outlook to publish its calendars to a WebDAV server, and have the website continually check for changes to this published file and update itself. 2. In order to use the whole calendar I have to copy my default calendar (calendar) to an copy (calendar-publish) version and then publish this one. when I subscribe to it at home I can get the whole calendar.     - Appointment Import Problem At work I have been using Outlook XP (2002) with a relatively large number of recurring and non-recurring appointments in my calendar. I have recently changed to a more modern pc - still using Windows XP - but with Outlook 2003 installed. Consequently, I exported all my old appointments to a csv file and imported them to the new machine. I did the same for my tasks. To my amazement, all the recurring appointments (and tasks) seem to have arrived as non-recurring appointments (and tasks). The tasks (15,000+) weren't a problem to clear up as I just deleted most of them and made one of each recurring again. However, my calendar is now littered with loads of former recurring appointments - many of which I want to update and amend. Can anyone tell me if I have to go through them one by one, deleting or amending them, or is there a quicker way to, say, delete all appointments and get back to a virgin calendar - so I can start from scratch again, which will be quicker overall.     - meetings errors I am having troubles with a few mailboxes that I migrated using self based migration tool. This is a Lotus- > 2007 Migration. Their mail and other items works ok. Except for the Calender. The users cannot actively send updates to other attendees for calendar items they own. Outlook States not sufficent permissions see folder contact or administrator. I have tried repermissioning the mailbox & calendar within outlook. No Luck, Then I checked the exchange advanced mailbox rights, they have full mailbox control and read permissions as standard.     - How do I keep internet calendar subscriptions from unchecking? I'm having an annoying little problem with the Internet Calendar feature of Outlook 2007. Every time I close and reopen Outlook, the calendars that are subscribed to (which were checked upon closing) have been unchecked! We have our Calendars automatically opening upon Startup, and want them to be ready to use right off the bat (without clicking multiple check boxes to pull in all of our Calendar subscriptions). You have a time zone or DST setting that is incorrect in either Windows or
the Outlook calendar.
