When someone sends a meeting invitation, and if I select the calendar within
that invitation, another sesson of email opens. So now whenever I open email,
I get two sessions. I can't figure out how to make it stop.

Doesn't seem to be hurting anything. It is just very annoying.

Close the calendar window first, then in the main window, click File>Exit.
