    - importing windows vista calendar to outlook calendar I have been using windows calendar but can't sync this with my blackberry so I want to move everything to outlook, the 2002 version. I export windows calendar info and then try to import into outlook but I get error messages: import failed. file may be corrupt. can't complete the operation. one or more parameter values may not be valid. Can anyone tell me how to export a calendar file from vista's windows calendar that I can successfully import to outlook? Or better yet, how to sync directly with a Blackberry pearl.     - Multi-Calendar Synch We are a professional service firm that has consultant doing work at our client locations. Our consultants struggle with maintaining multiple calendars, and dealing with overbooking. They often have our (employer) calendar, and multiple client calendar which none of them can see free/busy calendar from the each other.     - Multi-Calendar Synch It would be great to have a feature within Outlook/Exchange that would allow users to synch multiple calendar accounts into a single calendar. Example would be for professional service firms that that have consultants that work at various clients sites. Many time each client creates a exchange account within their own organization for email & calendaring. This creates a synch nightmare for those consultants as they have many different calendars to try and keep in synch (their employer 'consulting firm', and each of thier clients).     - Need a simple/quick reminder function Please add a reminder function: easily available like creating a note, but that acts like a personal zero-duration appointment. It takes way too many keystrokes to do it manually using the appointment process. Ideally a hot key combination would bring up a window with clickable timeline, calander and text field, no clutter.     - How do I set a reminder, not an appointment? There seems to be no easy way to set a simple reminder for myself.     - Recurring Meeting - End date must be before 11/10/2008 I am trying to schedule a meeting on a conference room calendar that we have set up as a resource. It will not let me schedule past 11/10/2008. I received the following message: Your meeting request was declined. It did not specify an end date. The end date must be before 11/10/2008. All times listed are in the following time zone: Eastern Standard Time _____ Sent by Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 We are using Exchange Server 2007, Outlook 2007 and Entourage 2008. This issue does not occur when sending a recurring meeting to individuals. This date does occur close to Daylight Savings Time ending but I cannot think that would be an issue.     - drag/resize appointment in 15min increments Hello, i'd like to drag/resize my appointments in 15min increments. When the Calendar view is set to 30min increments you can see that a appointment for 8:15 is between 8:00 and 8:30 but with resizing you can only got to the 30min increments. And when i set my Calendar to 15min i can only see about 7 hours of the day which is not enaugh. When i set the fontsize down to see more of the day you cant read the subjects anymore. Any Tips?     - Recurring calendar events don't archive (Outlook 2003) I have some recurring meetings that I set up to run 5-6 months or longer (ex. weekly staff meeting). In order to manage the size of my email folders, I have auto-archive setup to only keep 4 weeks of history, before moving items to my archive mail file. I have noticed that recurring events don't archive until the entire series has completed, so some meetings that are setup with no end date will never archive. Is there a way around that?     - Meeting organiser has left organisation - who is coming to my meet OK, I've read all the posts I can find on meeting organisers and the consensus seems to be that if the organiser has gone away, recreate the meeting. Putting aside how ridiculous that is for the moment, all I want to know is who has accepted or declined the meeting. I don't need to change the meeting in any way. If someone emails me through outlook calendar as a response to the meeting, I can see the list of accepted/tentative/declined etc. So the information is still there. Is there any way I can access it?     - appointment appears as text OK I'm not sure how to describe this so let me start at a basic point and give some background. I have Office 2003 running on my main laptop and my wife's desktop. I have a LAN that connects our PCs as well as two other PCs. The golden rule is that if some event is not on my calendar it may not happer or will be bumpted by another event. If I make an entry in my calendar I "invite" my wife and then with the click of a button she can add it to her calendar. She can also create an entry on her calendar and invite me and with one click I've added it to my calendar. So far all is good (BTW the invities are being sent via email I DO NOT have an exchange server installed nor have I ever had one installed0. The other day I made several entries in my calendar and invited my wife to each. As normal all appeared in her inbox but then we ran into a problem. A couple of them appeared very normal and she could just click on the icon and add them to her calendar. Two of the invites appeared as all text, there are no icons in the invites. Thus she was not able to add them to her calendar and deleted them. On my system I changed the time by one minute thus forcing a resend of the two entries and again they appeared as all text messages in her inbox. Any idea what is going on and what I do to resolve the issue? On both systems is WinXP Pro Office 2003 I've downloade all the latest updates from MS and they have been applied without issue.     - Duplicate Meeting requests I have a user who keeps getting duplicate and triplicate meeting request. The user utilizes both a laptop and desktop both running Outlook 2007 SP1 in cached exchange mode. None of the meetings are recurring. When users send him meeting request the duplicate shows him as being the organizer and the only attendee. User has two delegates both with editor access. Any suggestions would be appreciated.     - Outlook won't stop sending Calendar Summary to mobile I had set up calendar summaries to be sent to my mobile daily. I recently bought a pda, so I do not need calendar summaries sent anymore. I removed everything from "Notifications" and "Mobile Options" under the Mobile Preferences. When I click on those buttons, it says "Outlook Mobile Service is not configured". Yet, everyday Outlook tries to send a Calendar Summary to my mobile. I get an error message, "Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients".     - understanding calendar publishing Ok I am trying to understand how to use calendaring. Here is what I want to do. My calendar at work I publish it and subscribe to it at home. Now that is working for the most part. Now here is question one: every 20 min or so Outlook does a send/receive and the calendar is updated, sometimes it does not update my calendar at home. What should I look for when it does not update like it should? The calendar that I publish is named Calendar-Publish and my default calendar is Calendar. Question two: I want both my default and my publish calendar at work to be synchronized all the time. How can I do this? If I publish my default calendar, I can only get a part of it on the internet. I need the entire calendar to publish every day. I know this is a long question but it is the only way that I know to try to get you to understand what I am doing and what I want to do.     - Outlook 2007 Error While working in Calendar, if I click on a specific date from the mini-month calendar in the upper left, an error message pops up stating an error has occurred and the program needs to close. There is a check box that if checked reopens Outlook very quickly. The option to send a report to Microsoft then appears. What is really weird is the error only occurs for any date more than 14 days from today's date. All other Outlook functions seem to be operating normally. Any thoughts? Thanks.     - Unable to remove reminders Hi Using Outlook 2007 with service pack 1 installed Suddenly I am not able to dismiss any reminders. The message I get is "Cannot turn off the reminder. You may be reminded again. The end date you entered occurs before the start date" I've searched the internet for an answear on this one, and found one describing how to use the MFCMAPI tool to remove the problem reminders. I did get rid of the reminders using this tool, but the problem came back again on my first booking in the calendar.     - Default and Mailbox Calendars... My company is one a server with the ability to share virtually any piece of information on any of the three computers in the office. Two of us work full time and currently the boss is the only one with capabilities to share his calendar, etc. He used to be able to share his default calendar on the network but a few months ago his pc crashed and so we were forced to purchase a new tower. Our tech has been employed by us for only a few months and he did all the setup for the new tower to get everything transferred from old tower to the new, etc. Now, my boss is only able to share a calendar that is labeled as Calendar in Mailbox...     - Outlook Calendar Toolbars Using Outlook 2003 on MSW 2K, the Calendar toolbar will not save the action/standard buttons, Accept, Decline, etc.......or the Send button. I can move them to the existing toolbars but they don't stay once the window closes.     - Calendar Permissions I have a user that wants to share his Outlook 2003 calendar with other coworkers. He wants his coworkers to be able to view only the subject line of his calendar items. He doesn't want them to be able to open and read the details of each calendar item. Currently, we are able to set "Read Only" permissions. However, this allows his coworkers the ability to open the meeting/appointment/event and read more details about it. He doesn't want that. We have also tried setting his calendar items as "Private". When you do this, the subject line says something general like "Private Item". It doesn't give you the acutal subject line.     - Outlook Calendar I copied my old .pst file, specifically calendar, into the default calendar. Initially, it was showing up as Calendar. Now it is appearing as Calendar (2). Are there two copies of my calendar? How do I get rid of the (2)? I thought that you couldn't change the default name, Calendar? Also, when I migrated my old information into the new, dates where I had activity prior to April 2008 are not 'bolded'.     - Delete personal calendar Hello, I have a Mailbox Calendar and a Personal Calendar, but i only want one calendar for all my appointments/meetings. Two events, perhaps, one running from 7:30 PM to 11:59:59 PM and the other
from 12:00:00 AM to 5:00:00 AM the next day.
