Hi. Using Outlook 2003/office professional edition. Somehow, 14 days of
appointments disappeared from my calendar. It looks like I lost all data
from 4-1 to 4-13 -- today is 4-28. Interestingly, March data is still there.
There are no .pst files on my computer. Please help! I can recreate the
lost data because I printed my calendar but I want to make sure this never
happens again. Thanks Tony

If you're not using an Exchange mailbox for your dta, then there IS a PST on
your computer. Have you tried resetting the view?

Thanks!

"dta" was supposed to be the word "data". I missed the first "a".

Blackberries have an often-reported habit of deleteing old items and then
removing them from Outlook when you sync. It's probably time to restore
those items from your most recent backup.

Hi Brian,

how do you "reset the view"?

Thanks,
Gonzalo

To reset all views, start Outlook once with the /cleanviews command switch.
To reset the view in a particular folder, click View>Arrange By>Current
View>Customize Current View>Reset Current View.

Thanks Brian.

I did that for the Calendar folder, but didn't solve my problem.

I posted it in another thread, but I re-post it here for clarity's sake:

---------
I'm having about the same problem: SOME meeting requests received from other
people which I accepted are not reflected in my Calendar, and SOME are!

For those items not reflected in my Calendar, I'm not getting the configured
reminders.

Also, other persons trying to send me meeting requests for a time when I
have an accepted-but-not-shown meeting see that time as idle in my calendar.

So far I couldn't find a pattern of why some meeting requests work and
others don't...but I'm seeing a lot of posts on this issue...maybe it's a
virus?

Using Outlook 2003 SP3, with a corporate Exchange server.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Gonzalo
