I am not sure if this can be done. Can you actually use a bootable
network floppy to log into a domain? I can get an IP address, and I
can actually map a drive using a local username and password on a
Member Server, but I can't seem to log into the Active Directory
Domain.

Now i am thinking- is it even possible w/ Dos?

You need to assign appropriate value (NetBIOS domain name) to the workgroup
parameter in the [network] section of SYSTEM.INI file and add the entry for
PDC Emulator in the LMHost file on the boot floppy...
Btw. what operating system did you use to generate it? Depending on the
version, you should also keep in mind potential issues outlined in the

Hello fenster67@gmail.com,

Will be possible with 2000 without any problem, but in 2003 you have to use
a BartPE/windows for booting, DOS startup disks by default are not able to
logon because the NTLM/SMB signing is not working with DOS.
