Hi,

We have to re-address some of our sites and I was hoping someone could
point out what needs to be done when not just re-addressing servers but
entire AD sites. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello rileymartin,

How are the sites connected, via VPN or routers? Do you have DNS servers
in the site? Use the clients DHCP or fixed addresses?

Best regards

Thank you for the help!

Each site has its own DC/DNS/GLOBAL CATALOG/DHCP and Exchange v2003 server.
All the clients are DHCP. The sites are connected by routers in a hub/spoke
topology, all comming back to the central corporate location.

How should I handle the sites and subnets in AD Sites and Services? Do I
just create new subnets for the given site, re-address the servers in that
site, and when they've come up and are communicating fine delete the old
subnets? Thanks.

Is it possible to change the mask on an existing subnet in AD Sites and
Services? I tried editing the properties of a subnet in AD Sites and
Services and it didn't look like it was possible.
