Here is a very Interesting problem that I am having often. When I connect to
our server (DC also) for shared folders thru Run> \\192.168.x.x it would ask
for username and password. If I provide administrator and his password then
it displays the shared folders. Instead if I provide abc\ananda (where abc
is my domain name) and password it says the username has already been tried
etc.

The Interesting part is if I provide some wrong username (say ananda1) then
quite naturally it does not accept and the next time when I prove abc\ananda
and my password then it accepts displays the shared folders.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Does this happen from other computers as well? Is it always the same share?

Yes in other computers also it happens. So many shared folders are there on
the server. Sometimes they are easily accessible. But other times the said
problem occurs.
