My environment - all Windows 2003 Servers
Parent Domain - "Root.Domain.com"
Child Domains - "child1.Domain.com" and "child2.Domain.com"

My issue:
When Iâ??m logged in to â??child1.Domain.comâ?? I would like to be able to open up
Network Neighborhood and drill through â??child2.Domain.comâ??, but I am
currently unable to. Reason I would like to do this is, is because we have
an antivirus application that sits on â??child1.Domain.comâ?? that needs to be
able to communicate cross domains so that we are able to push out the
antivirus agent and receive details about the PC. Is there a spot within
â??child2.Domain.comâ?? to allow such communication? I already have trust
relationships between the child domains.

Thanks in advance

Hi
-Assuming different subnets, to see the computers using Network Neighborhood
you need WINS.
-Of course you should be able to connect to the machine using FQDN (DNS
resolution), or using the machine IP Address.
-When you say: "but I am currently unable to", what do you mean? What tests
did you do? Can you ping? Do you have FW between those domains, etc..?

I hope that the information above helps you.
