Hi all;

Please consider the following scenario:

I have several users that I want to change the properties of them at once.
So, I select them in the Active Directory Users and Computers console and
then right-click on them and select properties. Right?

Now I navigate to the Account tab. I want to enable the "Password Never
Expires" option. But interestingly I see two check boxes which one of them is
dimmed. Why there are two check boxes instead of one?

Hi,

The left hand tick box has to be selected to enable the setting of the
actual options using the right hand tick box... almost a case of unlocking
the option. So, for Password Never Expires, tick the left hand tick box,
which enables that option for changing, then tick the right hand tick box so
therefore set it as 'Password Never Expires'.

The text at the top of the accounts tab doesn't give some guidance on this,
but easy to miss i guess.

Hope that helps.
