Hi
the four times a day setting operates to ensure instances are sync'ed
in the absence of any directory updates. When an instance is updated
a partner in the same site will get a notification in 15seconds and the
partner will send an update request soon after. AD and ADAM are
not really built for faster replication, they are basically loosely
consistent
with convergence.
