hi, my wireless network adapter doesn't work on XP professional 64 edition,
and my network adapter is
BELKIN
F5D7050UK
WIRELESS 54G USB NETWORKING ADAPTER

What can I do?

Can anyone suggest a usb network adapter that can work?
I know people said the broadcom works, but I don't think they sell it in
Uniter Kington, if you do know where they sell it, please give me the web
address please.

by the way, my computer is a shutter XPC SN25P, and I fit in a 7800 GTX, so
there is not much room to fit in a wireless card, also even if it has room, I
need the wireless card run on the PCI express.

thank you very much

If Belkin cannot provide you the information and 64-bit USB
drivers you need to get your adapter working, then your only
solution is to find another adapter that has 64-bit driver
support. There is no way around the requirement for 64-bit
drivers and Belkin is probably the only source for support.

Gilbert:
Ralink ang Broadcom chipsets have x64 drivers.
http://ralink.rapla.net/ has a listing of brans and models that have the
RT2500 chipset and http://www.ralink.com.tw/supp-1.htm lists the drivers.

There is one option - try and figure out what chip is used to drive the
thing, if all else fails, try:

http://www.linuxonlaptops.com

they have lots of info on the stuff, and then you can try drivers from other
manufacturers using the same chip.

Tony. . .
