Hi,

What are the implications of running 32bit 2003 Server on 64bit
machines please? We have had problems getting our 32bit application
running & we are looing at downgrading the O/S to reslove the problem.

What issues are we likely to run into please?

Regards,

Steve

Shouldn't be any problem at all, I've got 10 32bit servers here running on
64bit hardware.

We decided it was sensible to standardise on 64bit Opteron HP hardware last
year, for future proofing, but we are running a lot of apps at the moment
that won't run on a 64bit OS. Ironically almost all of them are from MS
(Exchange, ISA, MOM, WSUS etc)

None whatsoever, assuming we're talking about x64 machines. (ie, AMD64 or
EM64T). They are all excellent 32-bit machines as well.
