I installed the trial download on my modest build 754-pin 64-bit AMD, but it
never got to final load windows, always rebooting. Caught in a loop it seems.
What? Help. Could it be graphics? Or....?

Check the driver for the hard drive controller. If it isnt on board then
make sure that you find one that is properly decorated for x64.

Try locating a new set of drivers. look at www.planetamd64.com - they have
the best selection. (site requires registration, but use www.bugmenot.com

To start, what is your hardware configuration? Do you have all the
necessary 64-bit drivers? 32-bit drivers WILL NOT WORK!!!!

I have Win Xp Pro x64 loaded and I did not encounter any installation
problems! I did ensure I had ALL the necessary 64-bit drivers before I
started!!

You'll need to find 64 bit drivers for the SATA/RAID, put them on a floppy
disk and then use the F6 option during installation.

Check through previous posts here for info on where to find drivers if you
don't have the 64 bit ones.

Are you implying you have one or more Serial ATA HDDs in your system?

It sure is nice that you're so free with your configuration information
to enable others to assist you. I sure would hate for you to hide anything!

Download fresh drivers for the RAID controller. Put them on a floppy. Use F6
to install them during initial installation. Drivers you may have had before
RTM will NOT work. Things changed between RC1 and RTM. If you have drivers
that are dated prior to late March, they're broken.

Best source for drivers right now is the download area of www.planetamd64.com
