all:

Can XP or any windows OS support multiple simultaneous users with different
LCD displays, keyboard, mouse browsing the internet?? Remembering back unix
support this and its time needs to come back.

I would like to have one computer, one OS, one security sw, on and on in my
house. All these double copies and charges and hassles and errors â?¦. Must go!
Envisioned Several people will share same computer for mostly internet
browsing â?? at time all users will need simultaneous access

IS THIS POSSIBLE WITH WINDOWS?

If not what about third party SW? or does Redhat support multiple users,
terminals, keyboards, etc??

Thanks in advance,

Windows Server 2003 R2 would be a good pick, along with workstations.

No, it is stated in the license agreement that XP can only be used by one
user at a time (either through a local or remote session) and this is
enforced in the OS.
If you want to do something fancier than that, you'll need Windows Server.
