But it is not an Outlook Express update for Win x64! It is for Win XP
32-bit.

Yeah!, you're right.
I tend to forget that THERE ARE x64 apps included in Windows XP x64.
And Outlook Express is one of them.
I use 32-bit Outlook and that's the root cause of my confusion.
