No intellipoint/type x64 drivers for Microsoft keyboard mouse????

I just installed windows xp pro x64 edition on my new system. I noticed from
many discussion forums there is a big problem with drivers.
But why can I not find any 64 bit compatible drivers for Microsoft products
like a mouse or a brand new natural multimedia keyboard??
I downloaded the most recent ones but i still get an error during
installation:

Setup cannot continue..... software version is not supported on 64 bit
Operating System....

This cannot be true,..... Microsoft will not deliver 64 bit drivers for
their own products??

Or did I missed something, is there a place where I can find them?

Otherwise I draw the conclusion and return to 32 bit again, because it is a
nightmare to get the drivers of the equipment you already had working so well
on my old pentium 3 450 MHz win 98SE system, sigh........

Intellitype version 5.5 to be released any day now - it will include
support for mouse and keyboards for x64 - keep checking microsofts
download section on their web site.

You're right, John. They were released back
around the 1st part of January. I guess some
people just sleep a lot!
