I just installed version 7.5.427 of AVG In Vista 5744. Installed
fine......running scan as I type. I noticed the e-mail scanner is not
scanning in winmail or thunderbird

I've been using Avast (www.avast.com) without any problems, seems to be
working good.

Email scanning is a waste of time IMHO. As soon as you want to open an
attachment, it gets saved to disk, so the regular file-scan AV gets at it
anyway.

AVG works well and is slicker than Avast in my opinion. Colin
