- Does the Windows XP Service Pack 2 work for XP64? Is there an equivalent
one or none ?

No such thing. XPx64 is based on Server 2003, not XP32. The naming is misleading.

No, the existing SP2 is 32-bit only. There is an SP2 in the beta process
that will apply to Server 2k3 and XP x64 (they use the same code base). It
isn't released yet, but "real soon now".

Note - XP x64 SP1 contains all of the functionality introduced in XP
(32-bit) SP2.

I wish they'd move on that. That RC is three months old. I guess for

Now the Windows XP x64 SP2 is in testing, you can download it at
connect.microsoft.com , now I'm using it on my dear Laptop, there may be
some bugs in it, it will come soon,so don't worry.
