Hello,

I recently installed Vista Business x64 bit. The hardware is 2 x 160GB
Seagate Barracuda on Raid 1 for the OS and 8 x 500GB Seagate Barracuda on
Raid 5 via Highpoint 2320 raid card.

Anyhow, Vista successfully installed on the 160GB drive. However, when I go
to disk management to format the 3.5 terabytes (8 x 500GB) Vista will only
see 2 terabytes. I can see the 1.5 terabytes left over but it is grayed out
and not accessible. This box is my media file server.

What is the drive capacity of Vista? Is it 2 terabytes? I find this hard
to believe! If this is the case, will installing XP 64bit be a better option
for me?

thanks,

Steve
