I'm trying to activate my trial copy, and it tells me I've exceeded the
activation limit for my key. Since it's a trial key, shouldn't I be the
only one activating from it?

The trial was downloaded from the link in the email from MS, and the key was
contained in that email (in other words, I'm not just using some random
stranger's key; I went through the trial download process).

Any advice on this one?

Register again and see if you get the same key, or another one.

Strange indeed, but you can activate your version by phone, it's not a big
deal.
Maybe Mike or Joseph will have some comments

Cheers

Or wait 120days when the activation clock resets.

Hi Kevin,
I received that same message a couple of weeks ago with my trial copy and
posted it. I ended up having to use the phone-in activation service and
that worked just fine. Good Luck.
