Everytime I try to open programs like Turbo Pascal or other full-screen
applications like games on this computer I get this error message, always the
same one :

16 bit Windows Subsystem
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the
application.

I don't think it's a compatibilty problem because I've already tried to
change the compatitbility mode and besides, some of the programs I can't open
aren't even that old. Since it says 16 bit at the top I've also tried
changing the colour settings but that doesn't work either. I would really
appreciate some help with this as I've always had this problem with this
computer.

I am not familiar with your programs, but I have noticed that a number of
programs that are new versions still have 16 bit modules in them that they
have never been rewritten. If you can run it on an x86 system, look and see
if it initiates the WOW in your processes on x86.
